Why We Built This Site
Florida provides several paths to public criminal-history information, but each custodian answers a different question. The Manatee County Sheriff's Office maintains local incident reports and booking information. The Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller holds filed charges, dockets, judgments, and dispositions. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Division of Criminal Justice Information Services, operates the statewide repository, while the Florida Department of Corrections and the Florida Sexual Offender and Predator Search maintain their own systems. We bring the official contacts, request steps, fees, and portals for these offices into one Manatee County reference.

An official copy must come from the agency that issued or maintains it, such as the Manatee Clerk, the Sheriff's Office, or FDLE. We can identify the likely custodian, but we cannot supply the document.
